Current state of the world  This world is full of destruction because sin entered through our disobedience unto God. Ever since there has been destruction by the devil. God loved us and sent His Son to reconcile us back unto Him through His death and the shedding of His blood as a sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. God's love exhibited in a grand display Psalm 107:20  "He sent His Word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction." Now all men have the right to become children of God if they confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the hearts that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. (Romans 10:9) Jesus came to save us from the destruction that comes upon anyone who is separated from God. The devil came to kill, steal, and destroy.   Today God taught me a secret to handle a chaotic world; Sink into His Presence.  Sometimes, we find it difficult to handle tough situations in this chaotic world. We have a God who Loving and Omnipotent. Just know what the combination of these two attributes can do.

  Have you ever been betrayed by someone you trusted? In Matthew 27, the scenario was a little different for Jesus because He didn’t put His trust in Judas and wasn’t surprised at his disloyalty because Jesus knew everything. It will be considered betrayal in the sight of others because Judas was expected to be on Jesus’ side as a disciple. Today, I will talk about 3 shocking facts surrounding the betrayal of Jesus. 1.       1 . Chief Priests paid the betrayer : The chief priests were the ones who were supposed to hear from God for the people, but they grew so far away from Him that, they conspired and paid 30 pieces of silver to kill the Son of God whom they claim they were serving. 2.       2. The Bible teaches us that amongst those expecting the Bridegroom; Jesus, there are some that are wise and some that are foolish. The story is told by Jesus Himself as He termed these Christians as 10 virgins. In the narration, 5 of them took extra oil for their lambs and the other 5 did not. As they went to meet the Bridegroom, they slumbered and slept because He delayed. At midnight, the was a cry announcing the arrival of the bridegroom.   There are times when we can't stop shouting because of the situation we find ourselves in. Some two men found themselves in this situation some years ago. These men were blind but very wise. They heard about a Man who could help them regain their sight.  So they started shouting out His name. The people around them told them to be quiet but they even shouted the more. They were heard by the Man they put their faith in, and that day, they went home seeing. Today, we learn the best method to become great in life. This life I will talk about is the one presided over by God. In the word of God, Jesus taught His disciples the secret to greatness in the kingdom of Heaven.  18  At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2  Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,  3  and said, “ Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.  4  Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  5  Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me .  This is our word for today; To achieve greatness in God's Kingdom, we must humbly live on earth. Praise, confidence and deliverance are the three themes in this scripture. The Psalmist begins with praise irrespective of the circumstance in which he finds himself.  He puts his faith in God, by making his boast in Him and then he sees the deliverance of the Lord in his life. Amen. We can copy this formula whenever we find ourself in turbulent times. We start with praise, we put our faith in God and we see the Lord work deliverance in our lives.
