When God glorifies you

 

Isaiah 55:1-7 NKJV

[1] “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. [2] Why do you spend money for what  is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what  is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. [3] Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David. [4] Indeed I have given him as  a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people. [5] Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the Lord your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.” [6] Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

It is amazing to realize that we humans are helpless on our own. We need God's help to be who He wants us to be. God knows that we can't help ourselves. He has made the call in His own wisdom and love, and all who respond will be glorified by God.

Why is there a need to respond to His call? All men sinned against our Creator God and there was no way we could be reconciled to Him except through His Way, Jesus Christ. John 14:6, I am the way the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me. 

When is the best time to respond? The best time is now because we are not promised the next second of our lives, but we are promised eternal life in Christ Jesus.

What should we do to respond to His call? We need to surrender our lives to Jesus for Him to be the Lord of our lives and also to the Holy Spirit to guide us. We can't make it on our own. When we do this, you can only imagine the glorification that awaits us in heaven and on earth, we will be living a life filled with the Presence of God.
