Spread the word—It matters.

Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV

[18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

I like to term this passage as a loving good bye letter from Jesus to His disciples.

In His farewell,  He assured us that, He is Lord and all authority is His. Sometimes this knowledge escapses we believers and because the things of the Spirit work when faith is applied, is was necessary for that assurance to be made.

Jesus gave us a mandate to go out and make disciples in the world because, it is not His will that any should perish but all shall come to salvation in Christ Jesus.

 II Peter 3:9 NKJV

[9] The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

This is our mandate and let us pray for grace to fulfill it. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, it possible to fulfil our God given mandates.

God bless you and thank you for reading.

Until next time, share the word of God prayerfully with someone.
