Answering the Call: I am your 911

The call.

A call has been placed on everyone's life. This call is simply what we are to do during our stay on Earth. Some people are called to be artists while others called to be are missionaries. Whatever our call is, we need to do it wholeheartedly to make our Maker satisfied. 

God's Plan and Our Purpose:

God has a unique plan for each person and a purpose for bringing them into this world. The best decision one can make is to find out what that plan is and walk in that direction. At times, we may not be aware of the specific duty assigned to us, so must endeavor to discover it through prayer and seeking the face of God. Some people have ventured into some career paths without any interest just because they were compelled by others but they find no satisfaction there. If you are at that point in life, you can find out what you are meant to do in this life, and with God's guidance, you can start fulfilling your calling. 

Discerning Our Calling:

To understand our calling, we must seek God's guidance through prayer and surrender ourselves completely to Him. By doing so, we will gain clarity on the purpose for which He has placed us in this world. We can identify our call by studying ourselves - our interests, talents, skills, and goals in life.

Diverse Callings:

Each individual has a distinct duty to fulfill. Some are called to be missionaries, artists, fashion designers, singers, instrumentalists, influencers, counselors, researchers, students, businessmen and women, prophets, pastors, lawyers, teachers, doctors, IT professionals, or various other roles. The number of duties may vary from one person to another. The crucial aspect is to identify our calling as early as possible and begin walking in it.

Walking in Our Calling:

We must wholeheartedly embrace our calling, treating it as an act of service unto the Lord, as stated in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God). We should seek God's grace because we cannot accomplish anything on our own, especially the tasks the Lord has assigned us on this earth.

The Joy of Fulfilling Our Calling:

There is this joy that comes with doing what you are expected to do. I can attest to that fact. It's not by strength or by might, but total surrender to God is the secret. Daily, we must surrender ourselves completely so the Lord can work through us.

Answering God's call and walking in our purpose is a lifelong journey. By seeking God's guidance, embracing our unique calling, and relying on His grace, we can experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from fulfilling our God-given purpose.
